Rethink Runoff

Naming, visual identity and all supporting materials for a stormwater awareness campaign

Rethink Runoff is a multi-media campaign designed to educate people about stormwater runoff and make them aware of the easy ways to reduce it. As part of the overall strategy, campaign messaging ties stormwater runoff reduction to the overall health of Lake Champlain, a popular summer attraction in Vermont.

In addition to naming, visual identity and website design, outreach materials include mobile displays and other touchpoints such as stickers, coloring sheets, T-shirts and plantable seed cards.

From an advertising perspective, specific demographics were targeted to help reduce overall costs per clicks while increasing site visits.

The result

  • 98% increase in new users visiting the site
